Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Core Tutoring Center Inc. (“Core Tutor”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using our website and platform, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting for a child, you agree on their behalf.

• Students under 13 may use Core Tutor only with an account created or approved by a parent or guardian.
• Students under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission, and that adult is responsible for their use.
• Teachers and staff accounts are created by Core Tutor.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Each account belongs to one person. Don't share your password or let others use your account.
• An account can be signed in on a limited number of devices at once. Signing in on a new device may sign out an older one.
• Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.

Each program page describes what's included, such as exams, study materials, live classes and the access period. Access ends when the access period ends.

Tutoring programs require an approved admission. A self-registered tutoring student is reviewed by our team before tutoring programs open; until then the student can still use the rest of the platform. We may decline an admission and will give a reason where we can.

Prices are shown on each program. Payment terms and our refund policy are set by Core Tutoring Center and will be shown before you pay. If you have a question about a charge, contact us at support@coretutor.com.

Our exams are practice and assessment tools. Objective answers are scored automatically; written answers are reviewed by our teachers before results are published.

We work hard to help every student improve, but we can't guarantee any particular score, admission or test outcome.

You keep ownership of what you create, such as answers, homework, blog posts, comments and reviews. You give Core Tutor permission to store and use it to run our services and, for content you choose to publish, to display it on our website.

Blog posts, comments and reviews are reviewed before they go live. We may edit for length or clarity, decline or remove content that breaks these Terms.

Please don't:

• Share, copy or publish exam questions, answers or study materials outside Core Tutor.
• Cheat on exams, submit someone else's work, or help others do so.
• Harass, bully or post anything harmful, hateful or inappropriate for students.
• Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt the platform.
• Scrape, copy or resell the platform or its content.

Our questions, exams, study materials, games, designs and logo belong to Core Tutoring Center Inc. or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning while you have access, but not for any other purpose.

Live classes run on services like Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, and some videos play from YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive. Those services have their own terms. We aren't responsible for them, but we choose them with student safety in mind.

Our learning games are free to view, and playing requires an account. Scores are calculated by our servers. Weekly leaderboards show students by first name and last initial only. We may remove scores that come from misuse.

You can stop using Core Tutor at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts other students at risk. Where possible we'll tell you why first.

We aim to keep Core Tutor available and accurate, but the platform is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.

To the extent the law allows, Core Tutoring Center Inc. isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in New York, unless the law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms. We'll change the “Last updated” date above and tell account holders about important changes. Using Core Tutor after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
